Dr. Ren-Neasha Blake serves as the lead data manager and scientist at the Citizens Security Secretariat, Ministry of National Security, Jamaica. As a distinguished Fulbright alumna with a doctorate in public administration and urban policy from Old Dominion University, she specializes in exploring the relationship between information and communications technology (ICT) and Jamaica’s coastal resilience planning. Honoured with the 2023 IIE Centennial Fellowship, Dr. Blake leads a project focused on cultivating an ICT-driven resilience framework in Jamaican communities. Her entrepreneurial spirit shines through her role as the founder and CEO of A1 Research Consultancy Agency (ARCA), extending her impact on local and international research, policy, and development. In 2020, her achievements were recognised with the Prime Minister’s National Youth Award for Excellence in Academics, underscoring her unwavering commitment to scholarly pursuits and societal advancement.
