The Institute for Equity, University Centre (IEUC) is proud to announce its newest Equity,
Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Fellows. Four outstanding learners have successfully
completed their academic and professional qualifications to earn the EDI Fellowship ©.

The IEUC focuses on developing individuals to change organisations and society. These
four awardees have already led powerful EDI changes within their workplaces and
professional communities.

The new EDI Fellows are:

● Laura Sharp, Professor of Pedagogy – School of Health and Wellbeing – University of Glasgow
● Tessy Mbofung, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Manager – The Open University
● Paulette Johnson, Senior Lecturer – The Open University
● Liz Agbettoh, School Effectiveness Officer – Blackburn Diocesan Board of
Education

Leading Real Change

Janet Cash, Vice-Principal at the Institute for Equity, University Centre, praised the
graduates for their hard work and impact.

“These awardees are already driving transformative change across their
organisations,” Cash said. “By grounding their leadership in evidence-led
practice, these graduates are moving beyond theory to dismantle structural
inequalities in real-time. Their success is a brilliant milestone for both their
