Read MoreHUDDERSFIELD, UK – Coinciding with its landmark sixth anniversary and the historic launch of three new academic schools, the Institute for Equity, University Centre (IEUC) has today announced the appointment of seven distinguished professionals to prestigious honorary titles, effective from 4th July 2026.
These elevations are made under the Institute’s strict policy on the appointment of Honorary titleholders, which recognises Fellows who have served the Institute for six years or more with distinction and continuity. The announcement highlights the deep academic expertise underpinning IEUC’s newly expanded academic architecture, designed to drive global leadership and social transformation.

In recognition of their exceptional contributions and sustained dedication to the Institute since its inception, the following appointments have been conferred:
Conferred with the title of Honorary Professor:

- Professor Jonathan Glazzard, University of Hull
Conferred with the title of Distinguished Fellow:
- Kelly Dooley, Headteacher, The Richmond Upon Thames School
- Dr Kenisha T Linton, Associate Professor, University of Greenwich
- Dr Richard Race, Senior Lecturer, University of Teeside
- Dr James Lane, Executive Headteacher, St Francis de Sales Federation
- Dr Deborah Outhwaite, Director of Studies, MA Education Online, University of Liverpool
Aligning Academic Excellence with Institutional Growth
These appointments come at a pivotal moment for IEUC. As announced in tandem with its 6th Birthday celebrations, the Institute is rolling out a major strategic expansion into three purpose-built hubs: the School of Leadership Transformation, the School of Policy & Society, and the School of Applied Learning and Work.
The expertise of these newly elevated titleholders will directly enrich these new schools and bolster IEUC’s flagship postgraduate suite, Leadership for Organisational & Social Transformation. Their combined research and practice will continue to anchor the intellectual rigor of the Institute’s programs, including the elite Executive MBA and the flagship EDI Fellowship ©.
