Paul Miller

23.07.24

The Institute for Educational & Social Equity (IESE) is incredibly proud to announce the accreditation of its Level 7 Diploma in ‘Strategic Leadership, Change & Innovation.

This accreditation from NCFE is recognition of the quality of the programme and of the IESE’s overall commitment to delivering quality educational provision.

This programme centres practice and is suitable for anyone in any industry who is currently a senior leader or for those aspiring to senior leadership roles.

Modules on the programme include:

  1. Organisational Culture and Change
  2. Leading culturally diverse teams and workforce
  3. Strategic Leadership and Innovation
  4. Leadership Roundtable
  5. Institution Focused Change Project (Impact Case Study)

Of the programme, the NCFE appointed/ anonymous External Reviewer stated:

The learning outcomes and assessment criteria for the units are appropriate and clear for the level of learning and assessment taking place. The learning outcomes are differentiated for levels of learner and unit content effectively.

The clear structure of the LO’s is digestible for learners and flows consistently throughout the units offered on this provision. The wording, language and formatting of these learning outcomes and assessment criteria are concise and offer frames of reference for how to structure written submissions.

The presentation aspects of the assessments allow a little more freedom and discursive elements which facilitates personal flair and creativity which can be extended beyond the written bodies of work.

This submission feels confident and well grounded, carefully considered and engaging. Once again, it has been a pleasure to review content which promotes the change and innovation much needed within current society, industry and future roles.

IESE Director Professor Paul Miller noted:

This is a glorious day for the Institute and for our portfolio with the addition of this newly accredited qualification. This programme offers prospective learners three things: theory combined with practice-based case studies, frameworks for understanding and successfully engaging with organisational culture, and tools and skills for leading change – including cultural change. The evidence is clear, leaders from all sectors want to improve outcomes and experiences for internal and external stakeholders and this programme sets them up to do just that.

Programmes Manager Katie Morigi said:

Adding this newly accredited qualification to our programme portfolio is another incredibly important milestone for the Institute. Through a carefully considered combination of theoretical knowledge and practical application, learners will gain the vital skills they need to drive change within their organisations. We are thrilled with the comments made by the reviewer and look forward to welcoming learners to this programme later this year.

Registration for this programme will begin on Friday – 2nd August 2024.
