Veronica Martin OBE is an Enterprise Fellow at the Institute for Equity, University Centre where she will lead on “Major Donor Funding”. She is a recognised leader in the fundraising sector, who is known for her innovative approach to fostering intergenerational philanthropic connections.
With an impressive track record in fundraising and advertising, over the past two decades she has developed successful fundraising campaigns that secured significant resources for various charities. In 2022, she was recognised with a National Award, OBE, for her contributions to societal equity. In 2026, she received the 2026 Lifetime Achievement in Fundraising, awarded by the Funding Forum.
Veronica invests in educational and mentorship initiatives that empower individuals from diverse backgrounds, supporting their professional growth. She is founder of “Beyond Our Youth”, a transformative platform fostering intergenerational connections and enabling young people to launch their philanthropic ventures. She is also the founder of “Black Leaders Awareness Day”, celebrated 18th July each year to recognise leadership contributions across generations.
